What exactly does that mean?

Does that mean that if I get a four in math, a four in English, and a four in German, I can still get into school?

I mean, it says something like an average of 3.0, but then a grade of sufficient in every subject.

Sufficient->4.0

So what exactly is meant?

"Applicants with an intermediate school qualification (e.g. Realschule) require an average grade of at least 3.0 in German, mathematics and English and at least a grade of "sufficient" in each of these subjects."

Stand there. The average of these subjects must be at least 3.0 and none of the subjects may be worse than 4. So, for example:

Math 2 + English 3 + Math 4 goes

Maths 4 + English 4 + Maths 4 does not go because average is worse than 3

Mathe 1 + English 5 + German 3 does not go because a compartment is worse than 4

It’s slightly illogical.

Because, I quote: “…require a grade average of at least 3.0…”

But then comes: “… at least the note ‘sufficient’…”

sufficient = 4

So if you have three fours, you have an average of 4.0. According to the second statement, this is not enough, according to the first. It is best to review the source of this text, because it must be clearly defined.

Then write a message and ask.

This is not illogical, it is called only two conditions that both must be fulfilled. (see my examples below and other contributions)

There’s nothing wrong. You just have to read.

You can also have a 5 in one compartment and a 1 in the other. Then the average is better than 3, but still does not meet the conditions.

Only if there is an explicit rule that applies to raptors. What I can’t imagine.

With the 5 in Mathe, it doesn’t go, it should be at least one 4.

Does it mean that if I have a four in Mathe, in English a four, in German a four, still come into school?

No, the average is four, not (as required) three.

Your grades (“addition”) are not enough.

Two, two, five are not enough; the average is three, but five is worse than sufficient.

No.

You’re not there. You have a 5 and this alone is the KO criterion for you.

There is: in each of the compartments at least: the note sufficient. but the cut of all three compartments must be 3.0. That means you have to be better in one or two compartments to compensate for a 4.

Why have a four in each compartment, WTH
