What exactly could be the reason?
Hey, I'm wondering why, when I'm playing something, the game just freezes out of nowhere and I can't do anything. I can't even access the task manager. Instead, I have to completely shut down the computer using the power button.
The drivers and temperatures are all OK
I have two drivers here
23.11.1 and 23.12.1 and I wanted to ask if this could be the reason why my rx7900xtx is crashing?
Or the peak loads of the Rx7900xtx? The GPU temperature is 67°C.
It's happened before in Halo Infinite, FH5, and Hogwarts Legacy. My monitor is a 4K 60hz, and I always play without Vsync. When I play with Vsync, nothing happens.
It's only happened twice in the past month, but I'd still like to know. Thanks in advance.

Eventuell sind es schlecht optimierte spiele und bei deaktiviertem vsync haut er dann die fps so durch die Decke, also weit über 60 fps das dein pc das eben nichtmehr schafft.
schau mal ob du die fps im jeweiligen spiel manuell beschränken kannst, falls ja mach das.
wenn es wirklich nie passiert wenn du vsync eingeschalten hast wäre das die einzige Erklärung für mich.
weil eingeschaltenes vsync capped die fps bei 60hz eben auch auf 60 fps.
ok vielen dank, mit meiner rtx2080 hatte ich vorher noch nie sowas gehabt. Mit meiner rx7900xtx ist schon 3xmal passiert.
Passiert zwar nicht immer, aber so alle 2 Wochen in etwa. Sollte ich deiner Meinung nach jetzt immer mit Vsync alles spielen, um Stürze zu vermeiden ?
Entweder das oder eben fps beschränken und vsync aus.
du schreibst auch das du nen 4K Monitor hast.
eventuell Grafik intensive spiele NICHT auf 4K spielen. Das braucht Leistung wie verrückt und selbst mein absoluter high end Rechner kommt da bei manchen spielen richtig ins schwitzen.
ich gehe da auch gern mal auf 1920×1080 runter also normale hd Grafik.
4k saugt echt übelst an der Hardware bei einigen Spielen, und das bisschen an Grafik Update ist es nicht wert, wenn dir dadurch die Grafikkarte oder anderes abraucht.
