What does that sound like?

Hello, my grandfather died yesterday, and since then I've been staring into space for a few minutes at a time. But I know I'm doing it. I've had this problem before, too. Is there another name for it? Or is it derealization? I know I'm staring into space, but it doesn't stop.

I have to see the doctor today anyway, should I mention it?

I'm sorry. A lot of condolences.

Do not worry. You have to deal with death, and then you're next to the trail. Nevertheless, you can tell your doctor. Maybe he'll give you a sedative or something.

Would be an idea but sedatives usually make quite dependent. And it is not possible to completely process a loss, because you are "infused" and not dealing with the feelings.

That is true, but for the first days it can calm down and should not be taken further.

For the first days it can help in any case. But would always be guessed.

Looks different;D

My sincere condolences to the death of your grandfather!

Do not worry. Every person reacts individually after the death of a beloved family member.

You can talk to your doctor about it. Soothing agents, such as benzodiazepines, have a high dependence potential. Whether the doctor will give you a benzodiazepine for a short time/a few days, your doctor will decide. There are alternative herbal tranquilizers that can help.

Not yet! I personally took a benzo > lorazepam twice in life, in the funeral of my mother and my father. I wouldn't have done that without it!

Happy for you and a lot of strength for the coming time!

As I have already written > I personally have taken twice in my life! a benzodiazepine > Tavor > Lorazepam, in the funeral of my mother and my father. Because of the medication, I was calmer. There are patients who react contraindicated to benzos. This is an emergency medication that should never be taken permanently and regularly. Where are your experiences based on benzodiazepines?

What herbal medicine do you have at home? Lasea capsules, based on pure lavender oil, have no dependency potentials. The pharmacist/PTA advises this.
