What does my turtle want?
My Greek tortoise keeps coming up to me, sitting on my foot, and stroking it. Is this a form of affection? I know that tortoises are actually wild animals and not ones that like to be petted or cuddled. But she doesn't want food either 🤔

In the absence of a partner, your turtle considers your shoe to be a fellow.
These animals hardly know affection. Rivals are dominated by rising and biting. And females will of course be climbed to the funeral.
