Letterbox company means that the company is not active at the address specified in the imprint. A company tries to act either more reputable (e.g. with a registered office in the EU, although the company originates from China) or tax is deducted (e.g. with a registered office in Cyprus, although the company actually originates from Germany).
Shinobee is also a letterbox company. They order hardware scrap from China and use their image as a “German” company in order to get rid of it via Amazon. The company is known to sell extremely bad finished PCs with partially unauthorized PSUs, fake graphics cards or ancient laptop CPUs in alleged high-end stand PCs.
