HDD = Hard Disk Drive, de.: Hard disk drive
SSD = Solid-state drive (semiconductor drive)

HDDs work mechanically. Here, the data are written with a moving read-write head onto a rotating magnetic disk.
The read/write rate of an HDD is slower than in an SSD. HDDs are also more susceptible to shocks.

HDD Hard Din which: Drive: Well, that’s a mechanical hard drive. Means a mechanical read/write head is still moving in the hard drive.

SSD – Solide Shave you not done? Drive: This hard disk type works roughly digitally. Such hard disks are usually faster than HDD disks and do not break as fast.
