What does a perfect CV look like?

Hi, let's assume you're in your 4th semester and have zero practical experience. It's assumed that your average grade will be 3.0 (business engineering degree). What do you consider a perfect CV to be good for job prospects later on despite not having an A grade? Can you give me some tips, for example, on which internships or student jobs are recommended to gain valuable experience, or on which specific industries or companies are highly regarded? What additional qualifications or certificates could be helpful to increase your chances on the job market? How do you stand out from so many other competitors when you don't have a great average grade? Is there any other way to score points? Is connection important and where do you get connections from?

Let's assume you are the employer, what would be important for the career path to work at your company?

(As I said, the industrial engineering course should of course also go in this direction!)

Practical experience trumps certificates and grades. Which one you get and where depends, especially in relatively broad degree programs like WIng, on what direction you actually want to pursue.

If you can't get a student job, even getting involved in the student council can help a little.

Of course, one or two additional qualifications in the form of a certificate don't hurt as a nice addition, but a long list of such documents makes you rather skeptical.

The “perfect” resume for you is the resume that accurately reflects your life so far.

You have to know what needs to be on your resume because it's YOUR life.

We don’t know you – what do you expect from us now?

I am a boss and I regularly read and evaluate applicants' resumes.

Is it possible that you misunderstood your question?

Are you not interested in writing your resume now?

Do you want tips on what else you can do during your studies to have better job opportunities later?

  • Many internships,
  • possibly also working student jobs,
  • also welcome international experience
  • definitely good English skills
  • Teamwork

=> these are plus points when applying for jobs.
Of course, a good appearance is also important, but you can only show that when you are invited to an interview.
