What do you think about naloxone combinations?

Hello. I was given tilidum with naloxone a while ago, but I'm currently taking pregabalin. I'll most likely be treated with opioids again in a few days, and I wanted to get some other opinions on this topic before I do.

During the time I was given Tilidine with Naloxone, I took 200mg every day except on weekends and I always noticed that the withdrawal symptoms were very extreme, which was because of the Naloxone.

Naloxone should ONLY be used in cases of overdose. I think these combinations, whether Targin or buprenorphine/naloxone, are utter rubbish. Naloxone forces withdrawal and literally rips the opioids away from the receptors, which also results in poor pain relief.

No. Naloxon is almost completely inactivated in the liver by a pronounced first pass effect. In oral consumption, it therefore only acts locally in the intestine, raises the opioid effect there and practically counteracts clogging and its antagonistic effect does not come to bear in the CNS.

The combination with Naloxon also causes a reduction in the potential for abuse. In oral consumption, the opioid antagonism does not come into effect, as stated, because of the first-pass effect, exclusively in the case of parental (i.e., for example nasal or rectal) consumption, the aloxon is not inactivated and increases the effect of the opioid. If the opioid is used as intended, the Naloxon has no effect.
