What do you need for a band?
I've had the goal of starting a band for some time. I already have the necessary technical equipment to record songs, so now all I need are members with instruments. I live in the Rhein-Erft district and am looking for male members who can ideally play an instrument. Singing is not a requirement.
Much annoying. Recording is not enough or I guarantee that you have no good equipment and know how with 14.
Otherwise you need a lot of money.
A sample room and instruments + a Pa cost money right.
They used to get a room for 150€. Today you pay for a small space of 700 – 800 € per month.
If you've done all this, you just need to find people who pay regularly, always are there and don't argue.
I've made music for 20 years, and I've really given up. It's expensive and you don't find people who don't fight all the time. In addition, there are hardly any locations where you can experience
From my own experience this develops with time. For a band, the musicians with their own equipment are the first stage.
We started in the founding session of my first band with 2 guitars and I started with water canister and wrath. I bought a drum first much later, but first played with a drum computer on a loudspeaker box.
After we were five, the band was complete, the first band equipment was only instruments and small combo amplifiers. With the equipment we started the band in the parents' garage and developed a first 1.5 hour program. With this we also played the first gigs.
Then drums, vocal systems, light technology, better instruments, larger plants… all gradually bought together. Only the instruments were "personal property."
It is more important to find dedicated people, then you can also master suboptimal circumstances. But if it's going to go right, you're not going to get around for sample room and PA… but you can start without. With my second band, which has emerged from a band project of youth care, I have been testing for years in the music room of the youth center and in return we have often played live at festivals in the youth center. In the meantime, we have our own sample room. The first volume is no longer available.
Recording equipment is not necessary in the initial phase, as there is already an Mp3 recorder which is placed in the room, eg

Things make bomby shots that can be pimped into a DAW. We do live recordings more often.
And without singing? You can do it, but you don't have to. This is not a complete band for me.

Of course you need a sample room. I started in a cultural center and rented a room for hours where there was a drum. Then rent a sample room via contacts.
For musicians, of course, you can ask in your circle of friends who likes it. Constellation automatically changes more often, you can try if it fits. If you already know what you want to do and what you want to do, make an announcement on an active music platform. (Do not know what is currently active). I've done that twice, and that worked very well.
