What do you call the way my table is positioned?

Hello,

I have to write a description for my school, and I'm trying to sound clever and include some technical terms. Unfortunately, I can't figure out what to call the way my table (in the drawing) is positioned relative to the wall. So, horizontally, vertically, etc., relative to the wall. The top one is the side view, and the bottom one is the front view. It's a long table.

Thanks for any help

The lower is a perspective view. The better expression is “shadow view”. Because in a perspective view, more distant dimensions must be shown smaller than foreground dimensions.

The upper picture is strictly not a correct side view. In a strict side view, only two of four legs may be visible from one chair.

I see. I would write: The table is in one-sided wall contact. Otherwise it would be either a free standing table or a corner table.

Never try to sound smart when you’re not really – a wise man can fool himself – but you can’t pretend to be wise if you’re not.

Foreign words are happiness – you should either know them or let them be.
