What do you call stories with only one chapter?

Hi, I've been searching for a suitable name for stories that only have one chapter. And I don't mean one-shots or anything like that, but rather completely individual, short, chapter-like stories. Only they're not connected to anything. For example, a text that deals with a specific topic (depression, for example) and then focuses on that, but the story isn't picked up anywhere else.

Hope my question is understandable. 🙂

Of a one-shot is usually also mentioned in the context of role-playing, not in normal stories.

How is the story of your story? Is there a central problem with climax, is place and time in unity and is thrown into history? This is a Short story. If, on the other hand, the short narrative has several places of action, a clearly defined beginning, no central problem, etc. Novel.

No, not necessarily. Just because a text is short, it’s not a short story yet.

The person has spoken of a CHILDREN that is short, since no particular texts were gennant, I am going out of short history and the person has liked my answer therefore I am going out of which the answer was correct or at any rate has answered what the questioner wanted to know.

The FS can judge badly whether an answer is correct, otherwise he would not have to ask the question :’D

A short story has very precise characteristics and is not just a short story.
