What do so many people have against furries?

I'm a furry, and I sometimes walk around in a fursuit and get stared at. I can understand if people stare at me normally, but not like I murdered their entire family.

I keep hearing bad things about furries even though only a small percentage of them are bad.

When a cosplayer walks around he doesn't get as many evil stars.

So why don't people like furries?

Because many think all the furries crawl around on all four and are guided by the leash, eat animal food from naps, only make animal noise, etc. What is, of course, total nonsense. And even if it doesn't hurt people if someone does the above. I always think about your own business.

I suspect it is because Furries and Theriane are often mixed together or many do not know the difference. In addition, I frankly find it also somewhat weird.

They're different. If we were to stop wearing green T-shirts as a company, you would be so stunned in 20 years if you were wearing green.

It is also often associated with sexuality, which is not the case forcibly white, but that does not help with social acceptance.

Many of my circle condemn furries due to excessive sexualization. And I get it

It's on social media? TikTok, Instagram etc? Have you ever looked into the comments? I know that it is first about the living out of his 'internal animal' or whatever it is, but what society does is something completely different

What excessive sexualization?

I understand

I'm not a furry, but I also do cosplay.
Just need to dress my cat ear strap with bow and bells outside and get stupid comments, get stared and laughed.
Are social people without respect and acceptance…

If you're riding a "Hobby Horse" on it, it could normalize the whole thing… then look away.
