Foreign workers with permanent employment receive a residence permit and work permit.

The following documents are required for the application:

  • Subscribe to stay application by sponsor / company
  • Copy of Commercial License
  • Photocopy of the passport from the sponsor
  • Pass of the applicant
  • approved medical examination valid for a maximum of 3 months
  • Emirates ID Registration confirmation
  • Work card issued by the Ministry of Labour

A stay is always connected to a workstation. To get a permanent visa is not possible. In case of loss of work, the expulsion threatens! You should have work within a month. Also, consider that there is no social insurance in Dubai, no pension and health insurance. In Dubai, the 5-day week is now also valid. Friday (generell) and Saturday is usually free.

There is enough information on the net. You need a sponsor. He’ll be over you. There is no prospect of a permanent stay or even citizenship.

It is a Muslim country with very own customs.

Due to the fact that most labor migrants are men, the UAE have an unbalanced gender relationship: on 100 women come 218 men. The official language is Arabic. Hindi, Urdu and Persian are also spoken. English is considered a trading language.
