What do I do with full but expired morphine?
I still have the morphine that was prescribed for my late husband. Should I throw it in the trash or do something else? I don't want anyone to get hurt, and that's important to me.

It would be best to put this in the pharmacy. There it is then disposed of by comminution, is dissolved or suspended in water and then the solution or suspension is applied to cat litter, pulp or incontinence chalks and is subsequently disposed of in residual waste. The dose cannot be recovered (or hardly any more).
I would stop doing this myself so that you can't get an inadvertent dose from the morphine, but bring the morphine past the pharmacy.
At best, you'll get it in the pharmacy.
Give it to the pharmacy.
Take it to the next pharmacy, which then dispose of it correctly.
I'd take morphine to the pharmacy.
