A question for everyone here: what did you play with as children?
What I mean is whether you played with typical "boys" or typical "girls" things.
For me it was relatively balanced. On the one hand I played with Hotwheels, dinosaur things and those rubber lizards, but then I also played with Barbie and Schleich horses.
Back then, I preferred watching Ninjago to Lego Friends, but I also watched the old Barbie movies.

I almost only had Lego and had a computer with 11.
Never with girls. My father would never have admitted.
