What did OpenAI do with ChatGPT that suddenly made AI such a big topic?

Suddenly, AI is booming. Every company now uses bots. More and more search engines are using more AI features.

You encounter more fake news from AI.

Every company now uses bots.

Rather, it is reversed and there are more companies that use little or no AI tools at all. Especially because it doesn’t make sense everywhere. In some areas, AI uses no more, less or no relevance at all.

More and more search engines use more AI functions.

This has been the case since the beginning of the 2000s. Be it Google’s Florida update to evaluate websites and content, then the first deep learning models like RankBrain or Bing and with last “Transformer modelslike BART and GPT.

You meet more KI Fakenews.

Dissemination of false content (Fakenews) has less to do with AI as such, but more with automation and access via other interfaces (APIs). Also the quality and quantity of such content is another. Be it with a view towards deepfakes and the like. What can be criticized and is also entitled to create people with less know-how.

They initially took a lot of resources to create a very good model for deep learning. ChatGTP was able to search through the entire internet and acquire a lot of knowledge. The result was the best and smartest chatbot ever existed. That was an extreme hype. Since then, every manufacturer has jumped onto the “KI Zug” and all software that has existed for 20 years is now marketed as AI.

Image creations = AI (giving it forever)

Image recognition (has been on Facebook for over a decade to identify violations of policies, such as violence or sexual content)

Changes to images, such as filter, cut out background etc. (has Snapchat for eternity)

AI traffic lights: There are always construction sites traffic lights that recognize how much traffic is on each side and adapt to this. Today’s AI traffic lights can see more how traffic patterns and peak times can be noticed on certain days and to adapt the circuit accordingly

All this has not only become so much better through AI, but simply through time. Lights were developed over time, just like image recognition and all the stuff about it. e.g.: China has cameras that scan your face and then know when you were (when it was introduced that was not AI and today’s systems can’t describe it as AI)

Every software, which today has a certain amount of intelligence (or better to say adaptability) than AI is marketed.

Apart from the weak-minded things of LAN cables, which are described as AI capable (i.e. only quite normal LAN cables) or any AI cameras that can’t stop anything, except focus etc. automatically (is definitely available for 20 years)

Yes, you have to look at YouTube, give some videos. There are very few here in Germany. Here’s a video from WRD: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FNmp0t9O6kA

It analyses the current traffic and adjusts the red/green phases accordingly. So far, these phases are not switched to current traffic conditions, but (if at all) after time.

I’ve been there for a long time, but OpenAI has made it suitable for mass.
And that, in turn, has triggered a race so that suddenly every larger company with corresponding know-how is insanely much money.

the development is a vertical, that just goes so incredibly fast so that no one comes after and you have a quasi-separate to play top with. The same applies to robotics.

In the next 10 years, we will see a never seen or even just imagined development with zig million unemployed and a society that cannot quickly adapt itself to the changed reality.

Donald Trump says the opposite! And Elon Musk says that too. Trump says that AI creates a lot of jobs and work opportunities worldwide!!!

In the past, there were many chatbots, but they never really had a ki, but rather had to answer randomly. But ChatGpt is a chatbot that really answers the questions correctly.

The basic principle of ChatGPT has been known for decades.

The reason why something meaningful comes out at once, and not before, is that because at once the number of “neurons” is high enough, one has, in a way, broken a critical limit in the number of “neurons”.

What do you mean, “Neuronen”? What’s that? Can you explain this in a simple way, please?

The developers were surprised by the boom

First thing it’s just about the chat function that’s rather funny.

Now it’s more about the real applications

But there are many things that come up with AI, although no AI is necessary

Because AI is simply brilliant and has infinite potential. Never before was information flow so easy.

But exactly, a quite old hat just in the trend.

Previously, “Nanotechnology”

KI is already very long

And the flow of information is not easier
