What dances can you dance to the following songs?

I mean, like, standard and Latin, not choreographies. Is it even possible to dance to all of them?

  • "Voilá" – Barbara Pravi
  • "This is life" – Amy Macdonald
  • "I kissed a girl" – Katy Perry
  • "Looking at me" – Sabrina Carpenter

  • "Voilá" – Barbara Pravi = a beautiful faster Viennese Waltz it aches in the feet. Good parquet, good dancing shoes, good dance partner, then go! Great mood
  • "This is life" – Amy Macdonald = I love this Beautiful Quickstep . Great to dance, one of my favorite pieces for QS – by Woodpicker, Slides, Advanced Tipple Chess, Waltz Action – all possible. It's slower, but therefore suitable for punching
  • "I kissed a girl" – Katy Perry = an exercise boy for the dance school. to practice ok, for Jive too slow
  • "Looking at me" – Sabrina Carpenter = no beautiful Samba . Too slow as a DF, I don't like it.

Actually, you can dance to any music if you can. But it must always fit from expression and style to music. Tactical changes and irregular tempos are problematic. There must be "knowing" what's coming so that it looks good.

Hi.

Here are my views on the songs and what dances could be danced:

"Voilá" – is a very fast and somehow inharmonic 3/4 clock. Theoretically a Viennese waltz, but completely inappropriate and not feasible.

"This is the life" – You could dance a beautiful Qickstep 🙂

"I kissed a girl" – Not a matching song for a dance, but if you don't take it so accurately, then a jive goes on, but everything else is better and suitable.

"Looking at me" – You could dance a samba (but not ideally suited to it).

I hope I could help you a bit and give you tips 🙂

Love
