What could be wrong with the Focus?

Hello there,

Maybe there is someone among you who knows about cars, or about the Ford Focus (from around 2015).
My friend's footwell has been actively dripping into the mat in the passenger foot area for a few weeks now (see picture).

It's coming from under the plastic cover, but we don't know where exactly. We haven't noticed anything unusual under the hood, and we've removed leaves, etc. We're starting to worry about mold growth, especially since the plastic cover gets slightly warm from the engine.

Does anyone have any idea what it could be? Is it ready for a workshop, or could I fix it myself?🥲
Thank you in advance for any help!

If cooling liquid is missing, I tap the heating heat exchanger.

If no cooling water is missing, the process of the heating box could be blocked. The condensation water of the air conditioning flows into the open.

Does the vehicle have a panoramic glass roof? Then check the front procedures for clogging.

What color does the liquid have?

Then it can only be condensation water from the heating box or rainwater which penetrates from the outside.

Please check the front door rubbers on the right seat and porous areas. Even the windshield could not be glued properly.

If everything is fine here, then take the vehicle on a lifting platform and check the drain hose of the heating box for clogging. Clean hose with a wire and/or compressed air.

Just let it be checked in the workshop, remote diagnosis is not possible.

If you are not able to determine which liquid it is and where it comes from, you will not be left.
