What caused the wound on Michael's leg?

These photos were taken in 2002. They show Michael Jackson showing off a huge black wound on his leg. Michael allegedly claimed he was bitten by a tarantula. While other media outlets claimed it was caused by the medication he was taking. But is the exact cause of his leg wound known?

I don't know how such a wound could come from drugs. The version doesn't really make sense for me.

Either it was the spider bite, or he somehow got hurt differently. It could also be related to his autoimmune disease Lupus.

Well, I'm not a doctor, but I'd appreciate that it could be related to his skin condition Lupus.

In this case, the body virtually attacks itself, in case of injuries, scar tissue forms and the skin does not cure as it should. He was diagnosed with lupus, so he was close. If necrosis is like google says the death of cells, it may be related to the effects of lupus.

There are bird spiders in California, but their bite is as harmless as a puppy stitch. MJ was also not a friend of shorts. If MJ didn't flunk, it would have been a very special bird spider 😉

The picture is so bad that you can't say anything exactly. This could just as well be an acute hematoma…. Maybe his father beat the black out of him, too.

Censing is clumsy. You can see how the wound looked exactly. There are many causes.

The cause will not be looked at by the wound. There are some possibilities. The fabric is necrotic, whatever. Otherwise, the photo itself is far too bad.
