What can I do about unwanted snacking?
Unfortunately, I often have the problem that when I'm alone, I can't stop myself from snacking, especially when it comes to spreads like Nutella or Milka Creme, which I end up consuming at least 300g a day. Afterwards, I always feel really bad and guilty. What can I do to prevent this from happening to me?
PS: It's a good idea to simply not buy the stuff, but I don't live alone and my parents buy and use the spreads just the same.
Sugar addicts are many people, so you don’t stand alone.
Get gums and/or candies.
With a candy you satisfy the japp on sugar, but at the same time take much less to you than would you spoon these sugar-fat mixes. And the “slower” you suck, the longer you hesitate your nasty.
And instead of spooning the stuff, it’d rather be thin on a bunny bread. The thorough chewing also satisfies the sweet and bread on top.
Try to somehow create distractions and not have the sweet stuff in sight. Also don’t leave open (visible) on the kitchen shelf, but in the closet.
Ask each opening of the cabinet whether you really need it or eat it out of boredom.
If you don’t make it all, please don’t hesitate to look for professional help.Feat attacks and food from boredom can be symptoms of Binge Eating.
