What are the chances of recovery?

Good evening

My mother has Ewing's sarcoma. The cancer has spread to her liver and kidneys. She is 36 years old and has no previous medical history.

Now my question is: what are the chances of recovery?

Ps: I'm afraid to ask her

Addition after 8 minutes

And how best to deal with death

Would a psychologist be advisable?

A soft-part combination with remote metastases has a bad prognosis. Healing at this stage is no longer possible in most cases, the 5-year survival rate is statistically about 10%. However, only the attending physician can provide reliable information about this.

Whether there are chances of healing can only tell you the oncologist.

There are many criteria for cancer, including other diseases.

When the disease was discovered, is or has been treated, operated, etc.

Please ask the attending physician after that, who knows the medical records and all data.

You know (possibly) the doctor of your mother. However, no one knows how quickly diseases change.

It’s hard to do. There’s no doctor here and no one knows your mother. Openly talk to her about it. I wish you all good

So the chance she gets back to health is about 43 percent.

But I wish her all the best and hopefully she will be healthy 💕

P.S. is a psychologist since Ratsam is about the family 😀
