What are good suspensions for the MT 07 RM 17 to retrofit?
I'm considering buying an MT-07, but I still have an older one due to the Euro 4 emissions standard. I often read that the suspension is poor and dangerous for sporty riding, so I'm wondering if there are any good, reasonably affordable options?
Go ahead and drive the machine before you think of a suspension update.
It’s best to let nem Profi set the suspension on you. For the road, the series suspension is all-round.
If you don’t get on, you can think of upgrading. You never do something wrong with Öhlins and Wilbers. I’d rather guess from cheap manufacturers.
I’ll drive her first if I buy her. I drove 2 years to Mt-125 and also very athletic as far as it goes, and the suspension is just too soft and when the brake is strong, it is much too strong and does not feel safe at high slopes. Don’t say that I’d drive crass and it might be enough for the beginning. But in many videos and reports it is said that the older Mt-07 swings up, etc. Then I’d rather spend money on some better feathers than lying on the snuck…
Drive the machine first and then learn to drive properly. Until you reach the limits of the suspension as a beginner.
And then it may make sense to go to a specialist who reworks the suspension. While this is probably not worth financially with a bike at the age and then you can look directly for another machine (probably also for class A).

The feathers do not necessarily make the difference. I noticed my 390 Duke and my 690. The torsional rigidity of the frame is also partly not necessarily where you want it.
And with sufficient slope, each motorcycle reacts to ground waves or the like somewhat unpleasant.
yes, of course, comes to many factors and the Mt-07 is not made for really sporty driving. I only often saw that a few harder feathers prevent the problem with the swinging up and therefore wanted to know if someone who has himself ne Mt has experiences and can give tips but still thank you for your answer
