What's wrong with my refrigerator?

Hello everyone, I'm really desperate right now and would appreciate any help.

I have a Miele refrigerator, a K 12024 S.

It died today, and I was just able to throw everything away. It must have gotten stuck overnight in 20-degree heat.

While I was mopping up the soup, it was unplugged. Then I plugged it back in and hope it reboots.

What could I determine as a layperson?

The temperature display flashes continuously at 20 degrees.

Even if I try to turn it up or down, it briefly shows different values and then jumps back.

Every few minutes the engine starts and after roaring three-quarters of the time it goes quiet again.

The light in the refrigerator flashes continuously.

The grills at the back are not dusty.

Below this black box is relatively warm.

Otherwise, I don't notice anything externally that would make me think of a broken cable, a burnt-out cable, or something similar. Everything seems normal at first glance.

Does anyone have any advice?

If it catches, how long do you think it will take to reach operating temperature?

Does anyone have any idea what this constant flashing could mean? The manual doesn't mention the error message.

I rely on the refrigerator or fresh, chilled food because I have a painful intolerance and can therefore only eat very limited amounts.

Kind regards 🙂

If the compressor's tubing, instead of surging, it's…

This is the main component that generates the function…

How old is the refrigerator?

Possibly, the guarantee…

I've got my Siemens 8 years now and it's like a kitten…

Miele should keep at least as long as possible.

So if you hear the buzz, it should run at least 10 minutes…

And thawing often works wonders…
