Fine in Italy?
Hello, I'll keep it short and sweet, I'm in Italy on holiday and decided to take the train. I bought two tickets but still had to get them stamped. Unfortunately, not a single soul created by God knew English and was able to help me. When the inspectors came, they didn't help me either and…

Can I travel with another person's student ticket?

I have to take the train somewhere every day for a week, and I'd like to use my brother's student ticket to save money. If I scan the ticket, can I see who it belongs to and how old they are?
Does Germany have the worst public transport 🚆?
I have a car, but I still think Germany has the worst public transportation system? What do you think?
A tram travels (at least partially) in the tram and is therefore limited in length and width, travels (almost always) with overhead line (equivalent current approx. 600 to 750 V), is (today predominantly) low-floor for access from road level, has brake lighter and directional blind.
A subway travels (largely) underground, at least on its own gliding body without overlapping with the road traffic (also not at the same height crossings), travels (largely) with side rail, has high-way platforms for the same height entrance.
In between there is the “city railway” which can connect sections of both systems. It travels mainly on its own body and can have sections both in the road level and underground. Tram systems are often high-floor and with high-speed. There are also those who can walk on full lanes (train trains).
I love the old TW6000, bloos the seats are uncomfortable
I found the doorstep folding mechanism brilliant. However, it does not seem to be quite permanent: in Budapest, the vehicles are now converted to fixed steps and folding doors full of height, because they do not stop at high lanes.
Hi,
A tram is much narrower & shorter than a subway, and looks like:
And a subway is much wider & longer than a tram, and looks like this;
LG 🤗
The definitive difference is that a subway travels a part of its route underground.
Trams have overhead lines and a current collector on the roof. In the case of subways, however, the tunnel would have to be very high, which is why it is equipped with a busbar next to the track. So these lanes don’t have a collector on the roof.
In Asia there are metro systems with overhead line.
Okay. Apparently there’s nothing there is…
A tram rides at street level Mal in the middle of the road, sometimes next to the road
Have overhead line where the current is removed by the bracket.
A U-way runs underground. If the bus bar is next to the track, this saves height.

A tram rides next to the road and a U railway under the earth
That’s amazing.
I never thought someone would ask.
