What's going on with Facebook Marketplace?
I (13) dream, like probably many others my age, of things like a cool PC or laptop.
I recently came across Facebook Marketplace via TikTok, and since then, I've been checking it out daily and daydreaming. 😅
And then I somehow came across the search term “Nintendo Switch” and saw offers that were under 150€ and cost at least 800€ RRP.
Now I'm asking myself whether that's believable.
(some items have already been sold)
This is always the problem with fairytale prices – it is then unfortunately also a fairy tale, which is often not considered right as a teenager without great life experience.

Maybe fraud, maybe not. It would be necessary to check the parts that are installed and if necessary parts are broken, or the seller really has no idea and does not know before.
Can’t be answered on a flat-rate basis.
There are also fraudsters, of course. So always depends on the individual case.
I personally had similar experiences with a MacBook, which later actually turned out to be a scam. However, I have paid via PayPal goods and services to which my problem in the app simply explains and get my entire money back. This only works with PayPal goods and services.
Never, ever, I would never buy something on FB Marketplace that I don’t personally first View and can be checked.
If only one of them (view, check) is not possible – no matter what reason – the seller can continue to look at how he gets sold his stuff. At least not me.
Has anyone experience?
