Are overtime hours paid in tax class 6?

Hello,

I have a question.

At the end of March, any excess overtime will be paid out in our company.

I have about 40 hours too many.

I know you can take time off, but that doesn't help me at the moment. It's a bad time right now.

If I get paid for the hours, I heard that it happens in tax class 6, is that true?

It is always said that it is not worth paying for overtime.

Unfortunately, I haven't found anything about whether it really happens in tax class 6.
