I'm not sure how to phrase this question correctly, or if anyone will even understand it. At 15, I'm 5'9" tall, and my father is about 5'7". He started smoking early in his teens, which is probably why he didn't grow much. My question is whether it's genetic, meaning I probably have his original genetics…

I've heard from many people who've lost a lot of weight that they now have stretch marks. I was wondering if you only get stretch marks when you gain weight, and if they're still there when you lose weight, or if you didn't have them before and they appeared as a result of losing weight?

If you are male and follow the normal growth curve, you are theoretical at the end with 19 approx. 184cm tall.
