I remember that on 31.08.1997 I had broken up into a four-week holiday on Menorca. The flight went very early and I was pretty stressful. In the shower, I heard something about Lady Diana in the radio news with an ear and I still know that I thought “Oh, probably she has now announced that she is pulling or getting married to the USA.” Only at the airport did I learn that Lady Diana died the night and that shocked me.
But recently there have been so many documentary about the entire British Royals….so many reports about the death of Diana.
I looked there too.
The Brimborium didn’t care about me at any time.
There are other traffic deaths around which not such a circus is held.
In the morning I learned that Diana died the night before. I was shocked and couldn’t believe it. I couldn’t look at the funeral myself as I had to work, but I followed it on the radio.
I followed the wedding of Diana and Charles on TV.

I didn’t like her so special, so I didn’t like it big, it was the ex of Prince Charles and I almost tired the Queen, who had to pretend she was touched – I still saw the summary somewhere.
I had taken note of it. But why one moves into family ceremonies of crowned heads will remain an eternal mystery to me.
