Who knows this film?

I watched a film in elementary school religious education class. It's about a boy who fell off a cliff and broke his leg, and I think there was little chance of recovery. I remember that one of the boys was always carving something, the boy was blond, and at the end of the film, he jumps out of the train and is happy that he can walk normally again. The Lord's Prayer was also briefly mentioned. Maybe someone knows the film. I've been looking for it for a while but can't find it.
