I live in Rhineland-Palatinate and am currently getting my driver's license. I'll be taking my practical test soon, but my only companion will soon be banned from driving for four weeks. No, not first.

Your passed theoretical examination is valid for one year from day of examination.

If you do not manage to pass the practical examination within this year, you would have to retrieve the theoretical examination.

The theory lasts after a year. If you need so long until the theory check is back for more than a year, you actually need to repeat it.
