When I'm logged into the Telekom McDonald's Wi-Fi hotspot, I can't receive emails on my iPhone, but everything else works fine. Why is this?

Probably the whole thing has blocked over the server.

Have they accepted their terms and conditions? and depending on. they can block everything according to which they have the meaning, is also in the conditions

clear, like everyone. I would also not have a Bock for 15 minutes to read the terms by and put on them the ANbeites, because if you read them by, you would not use the hotspots

Hello,

It’s nice that you’re using the advantage of your telecommunications.

The HotSpot’s on site are fully unlocked and, in my knowledge, there are no restrictions on use. Except perhaps our side.
Do you use Apple’s mail app? And only in the mails were there any problems? Other apps work normally?

So I still wouldn’t have known a limit. Have also definitely received emails in the HotSpot. Although I can only remember classic newsletters and not big file attachments, they have never made any problems. So I would think temporary problem or Problem of the HotSpot there on site possibly due to excessive utilisation.

It may be that only the ports for HTTP(S) are released. iOS has an integrated VPN service that could go through if it is not blocked?
