I’m just talking about the story. If you write about what the author wants to say about it, that would be an interpretation.

Depending on the task. For example, the task could be:

Collect the author’s arguments (in this case you would have to deal with what the author wants specifically).

But it could be that good:

Get the events that have happened in the XY story together.

That is why it is difficult to answer. Always look good at the task and what you ask 🙂

In the summary, you only have to reproduce the content of the story. What the author wants to share with history belongs to the analysis.
