Do budgies mate without a nesting box?
Hi
My two budgies hatched three chicks two months ago. They're already flying pros and super fit! Now there's a problem. Since I already knew that it could happen several times that they want to breed again after the first brood, I removed the nesting box…
Well now my budgie male is mounting the budgie female several times a day and they are always looking for the nesting box and even in smaller things. I have secured everything for now but my budgie female is already getting into breeding mood again :/ my only thought would be to boil the eggs but is there another option?

Du kannst Tiere nicht davon abhalten sich wie Tiere zu benehmen
Gibt ihnen den Nistkasten zurück. Sonst hat sie Legestress.
Und wenn die Eier da sind, nimmst du sie weg und entsorgst sie.

Ich weiß ich bin etwas spät dran, aber den NK zurück geben wäre garkeine gute Idee…
Mein Hahn und Henne, die schon einmal Küken hatten Verpaarung sich auch oft…
Du musst einfach das Futter runterschrauben, also das frisch Futter, und nur Körner umd Kalzium, Muschelfritr, etc geben…
Bei mir ist die Henne auch brütig, und sie hat sogar ohne NK angefangen Eier zu legen…
Nach dem 3. Ei hats aber aufgehört.
Die Eier einfach wegnehmen, wenn welche ohne NK fallen, dann beruhigt sie sich auch…
Einen NK würde eich nicht reingängen, weil es für die Beiden meeega anstrengend ist❗️
