Budgie flies around excitedly when I enter the room?
Hello,
My budgie flies around excitedly when I enter the room. What does that mean? I'm not sure if she likes me… because she doesn't let me pet or touch her at all and always flies away quickly. She's very shy.

Your waves are completely normal.
They know from their own observations and experiences with native wild birds that birds move back to an elevated position with sufficient distance to the human being when the human being approaches.
This also applies to corrugations.
This behavior shows that this bird has healthy instincts.
After the acclimatization and the reconciliation of a wave-shape have taken place, its behaviour depends mainly on a well-established environment that is as animal-friendly as possible.
Suitable routes and starting and landing sites are as necessary as a good location of the cage.
And, of course, the behaviour of the shaft fitter also plays a significant role, which is usually also the responsible animal caregiver.
In the presence of their waves, they should always act calmly and with inconspicuous, as far as possible non-changing clothes and announce their coming, as well as walking, beforehand by talking to the birds with a damped voice.
I wish you a happy hand for your waves.
Best regards

Individual attitude is not in order for such a social swarm animal. Instructs even against the animal welfare law. So please get a fellow for the animal as soon as possible. Then the animal will also blossom and possibly more suspicious. Try big treats like millet. But compulsion should never be there.
You have to buy a second animal.
