Wellensittiche Grabmilben?
Hallo,
Vielen Dank!
You should have been better informed.
After treatment with the chemical lobe, the tomb mites will have died, but their waves will have absorbed corresponding health damage.
The decomposed wax skin will not fall until the waveform changes the metabolic mode if the bird still experiences this.
Ivomec is a poison that is also dangerous for humans.
I hope you informed her veterinarian exactly so that you do not take any damage.
Therefore, you should remember the necessary human hygiene carefully.
If you wanted to fight tomb mites with their wave-sittich, then this would have gone with Vaseline.
This is applied to the wax skin and closes the tombs of the mites airtight, so that they suffocate and die.
Such a treatment is more complicated, but protects the health of the waves.
A Veterinary, which is primarily committed to animal welfare, should have informed you about this alternative.

Thanks for the answer. I knew about the vaslins before, and told the veterinarian that this procedure was obsolete, and especially in the beak, the respiratory tracts are irritating and the bird is suffering further. As he said, this is scientifically proven with Ivomec and much more effective with adjusted dosage. I hope he’s right.
Tomb mites seem to go away very slowly. The mites die, but the damage the animals have already done in the beak and must grow out with time.
You can treat the beak yourself externally, but if the veterinarian has given you nothing for it it is not necessary. Gives all the time. It should always be at least. 2 treatments. Once to kill everything living and once a little later to kill what had not yet been hatched.

I don’t think of Vaseline, oil. But I can’t say what it was. In the time when I took sick and neglected animals, more waves came with severe infestation where a simple treatment would have brought nothing. Ivomec is just what helps the fastest.
Good improvement for your waves.
