Hi everyone, I've noticed for a while now that my budgie sometimes lies on the floor for 1-2 hours, but then she wakes up again. I suspect she's trying to breed. She doesn't have a nest at the moment, but she'll be with us from Monday. My question is, would this behavior be acceptable? Her behavior is completely normal; otherwise, she eats and drinks as usual.

Hallo, vor etwa 10Minuten ist ein Vogel gegen meine Fensterscheibe geflogen, auf meinem Balkon gelandet und hat sich anfangs noch bewegt. Minuten später hat er aufgehört sich zu bewegen, er liegt auf dem rücken mit offenen Augen. Was soll ich tun? Ist der Vogel Tot oder nur Bewusstlos?
Sagen wir es ist ne schwere krisenzeit und wir müssten stadttauben jagen um zu überleben wäre das dann gefährlich sie zu essen

Animals incl. Birds cannot be “pregnant”. You can at best become TRÄCHTIG or “small eggs”. Pregnancy is only available at MENSCHEN.
