I have a Nissin i40 flash for my Fuji camera. It has settings from 1:1 to 1/16. My new flash, the Nikon SB-300, which I'm getting for my Nikon ZFC, doesn't have any settings at all. It's always at full power… does that have to be a disadvantage? How can I adjust the flash power…

Can you see through the viewfinder of an analog camera when the aperture closes?
I have a Minox 35 GT and am currently learning how to use analogue photography. My question is, when I take a photo (i.e., press the shutter button), should I see the aperture closing through the viewfinder? Or, how do I know that I've taken a photo?
