Which welding machine for kart?
Hello,
I want to weld a kart and wanted to know if a cheap welder (I'd prefer flux-cored wire) would be sufficient to prevent any breakage. I've never welded before, so I'm not very familiar with the process. Could you recommend one?

Have never had good experiences with cheap welding equipment. It can be very dangerous, think about it.
What can you recommend?
Is that okay? Other
First of all, you should be aware of yourself, WAS You want to make exactly what materials you want with which wall thicknesses under which expected load moments at which points your body wants to assemble.
Otherwise, you can always be treated with whatever hovering procedure, if you have no idea of body construction at all.
In this sense, if your craft should not unpredictably break you apart in the most unfavorable situation breaking around your ears!
I would use rectangular hollow steel and put more on high loads to better distribute the pressure. The question is now whether there is a cheap welding device sufficient to hold it together well.
Even from the poorest living conditions, trained people can use the electrode or autogenate a lot.
DIESE people, however, also resort to decades of self-experience.
Not for the best practiced welding process in itself, but to the extent that they are welded together.
