I've been practicing the CAT test a lot lately on the Bundeswehr website, and I always find myself struggling to understand one of the questions. Can someone explain to me exactly what I have to do? I know it's there, but I still don't understand it. What pattern are they referring to?

Personally, I'd say Austria-Hungary. They were the only ones who really wanted a war, even if it was only a regional one. If that weren't the case, they wouldn't have issued such a brazen ultimatum.

Schau dir die Symbole in der ersten Zeile an. Nimm das Symbol links und das in der Mitte und bringe die übereinander. Dann schau, was dazu als Symbol rechts angezeigt wird.
Das gleiche dann in der zweiten Zeile.
Die Symbole sind wie eine mathematische Gleichung. A + B = C
Wenn du die Logik heraus hast und in der dritten Zeile anwendest, wirst du das richtige Symbol als Lösung erkennen.
