I recommend “Grundkurs Pilzbestimmung” by Rita Lüder. In addition to the mushrooms, the common expressions concerning the fungal habitat are also very well explained.

“The Great Cosmos Mushroom Guide” by Laux is also recommended, but sets more in biodiversity.

If one correctly enters matter, it does not remain in a book. At some point, further special literature and/or volumes may also be added. In any case, good literature is indispensable for beginners and advanced students.

I’d rather see if there’s a course for mushroom determination in your area. You can better get in there:

Without a well-founded experience, there is no such thing, sorry.

Besides the advice of not taking any fungus not known to you.
