Of course it’s worth it, it just got out two years ago. And if you like it, you can buy it. If you want to have the newer model, then just one of the iPhone 14 models. And they are of course better than the iPhone 13 models.

Here you can compare them: https://www.apple.com/de/iphone/compare/?modelList=iphone-13%2Ciphone-14%2Ciphone-15

Hello.

Both devices are almost identical. The iPhone 13 does not necessarily have to hide from iPhone 14. Compared to the 13’s, the 14’s only received the following improvements/features:

  • better camera recordings and the new Action mode. However, the differences are minimal, while the action mode is a great video mode for linear and constant videos of motion recordings.
  • Both devices have the same chip. In iPhone 14, the A15 Bionic has 1 Graphic arts more. Is that noticeable in everyday life? Not at all.
  • the 14’s battery keeps according to Apple 1 hour longer
  • New Satellite function and accident detection iPhone 14. iPhone 13 does not have this.

Otherwise everything’s the same.

Conclusion: The 100€ could save you and instead invest for more storage space at iPhone 13. Look at CHECK24/Billiger.de. If the price difference between the two devices is less than 50€, you can think about buying the iPhone 14 directly. That would be the exception. Otherwise, the iPhone 13 would be more than sufficient as an excellent all-rounder!

You can also spend the 100€ more updates for one year.

I doubt that with a graphics core more of the A15 chip Apple will deliver 1 year longer updates. It is the same chip in both devices.

That’s correct. Only the chip is the same as the predecessor, the 13 Pro models, which are also equipped with the A15 and the additional graphics chip. Thus, it is likely that all 13 models as well as the standard 14 models (14 Pro or Pro Max have the A16) will be simultaneously flew out of the support.

iPhone 13 is a year older thus a year less updates

Both are practically the same, I personally would advise you the iPhone 15 because the 13 is technically already quite old and the 14 is simply the 13. But the 15’s has USB-C more sustainable and has the new Dynamic Island. So give your iPhone a modern flair. That’s why I recommend this 15 if not 15, then the 14 because the 13 and 14 are practically the same for you.

Apple’s standard devices are only very rare, as they are heavily picked up compared to Pro devices. The iPhone 11 Pro is approximately at the level of iPhone 14, but is significantly cheaper.

I would buy the iPhone 12 Pro.
