Which internet for new construction?

Hello, there's no DSL in my house, so there's no telephone socket. When I test availability with Vodafone or Telekom, it's never available. What should I do now? There's nothing here, even though we're near the city, so it's not a village or anything.

The proximity of a city does not say anything about availability.

It’s best if you go straight to a Telekom store and talk about it. If there is actually no connection, it will be quite expensive to leave behind.

You can also listen to the usual glass fiber providers if something is planned.

The cheapest alternative is to be a mobile router that connects via the mobile network. This, of course, presupposes that there is a corresponding reception with you.

The builder hopefully has given the order to put a connection (LWL, Kabel, DSL) into the house in time.

Or at least empty pipes up to the land limit for this.

Making all this done afterward could be very expensive. For a future-oriented connection, I would then look at who locally expands fiberglass, ask Vodafone for a cable connection or become me at Deutsche Telekom’s builder service.

If there is no glass fibre yet, this is prospective, a solution of LTE for bridging would perhaps still be conceivable.

Hello,

this is unusual, however, that the house is not supplied with any technique.

Is it about a new building and the house is not yet connected to the grid?

Are you owner or tenant? As a owner, you can contact us directly at the Bauherrenservice, as already said. As a tenant, ask the owner directly – he will be able to say more.

Best regards

A house built without landline connection!? but the builder was brave and rarely stupid at the same time

Ask at Deutsche Telekom and/or vodafone what the fun would cost to connect the house

I would like to check in the basement before, if there is no house transfer point and the electrician is only too stupid to connect the apartment.

If the house is new, hopefully fiberglass will have been laid, the owner will certainly be able to help you more than the internet.

However, it can also simply not be completed, even the owner can answer that.

If there is nothing, you will probably be mobile internet or Wlan must use:

But since first check the net cover in advance, otherwise you buy the cat in the bag, with an evil surprise/awakening.
