Welches Geschlecht hat mein welli?

Hi,

Looks more like a cock. In the hens, the wax skin is usually clearly brown. In rare cases, the wax skin may not even agree with the color to be expected and especially with young corrugations which have not yet been recoloured, the determination of the sex may be unambiguous. In case of doubt, you would have to send a DNA sample to a laboratory.

Hi.

This looks like a female for me from the bright wax skin.

An exact picture from the front would be best but here some examples of self-determination.

Female:

brown wax skin,

not brutig/jungtier= white to light blue wax skin or light blue with white rings (at yours it looks like the latter variant)

Jungtier Butterfly (W)

Butterfly as Adult (still bruised)

males:

Adult: strong blue wax skin, in some color strokes pink

Young animal: pink wax skin with blue mica and the nose.

Ocean Jungtier (M)

Ocean as Adult

You should set better pictures.

At least three photos would be required here.

All recorded in bright daylight.

One should show the wax skin as a close-up sharply in the large picture section from the front.

The second the head of the bird with the eye as a close-up from the side.

A third party the entire shaft section from the rear side.

Probably you have a wave-sittich-Henne, that is female sex.

However, better images are required for a safe determination.

I wish you a happy hand for your waves.

Best regards

If the colors on the photo do not deceive, the wax skin light blue with white sauce around the nose holes (= blue).

The color of the wax skin changes after the youth mouse usually by brown or Other.

Looks more like males because the nasal is not clearly brownish. in these brightened colors the nose is often slightly purple rather than really blue.

There is also the so-called hen blue (light blue with white hem around the nose).
