Which bedding?

Hey, I have an urgent question. I've had gerbils for four years now, and I've never had any problems with the bedding. Recently, I've been having trouble breathing because of the dusty bedding. Unfortunately, I can't find anything affordable that's dust-free. I'd prefer wood pellets (dissolved in water first), but since they're not good for building tunnels, I'd mix them with sand, peat, or soil.

Have you had any experience with this? Or do you have any other tips for dealing with it?
