I have a 50cc Aprilia Scarabeo scooter. Under the seat is just the gas tank. There's another screw on the side for the oil, but is that perhaps for the automatic transmission?

Hello. What could be the problem? Scooter starts and runs for 5-10 seconds, sometimes 15 or so. But it goes out immediately and doesn't respond to the gas. MFG Simon
The guide (Scarabeo 50ccm 2T) after (because you can look in), is the filling opening for the mixed oil next to the cap for the fuel tank.

The cutout is enough to determine that this is a four-stroke. Even if this were not on the engine, it would be recognized by means of the oil filling opening at the front of the engine.
In the tank comes normal petrol. the scooter has another tank for 2Tact oil.
