For 8,000€ you will already get a very good VW Passat(3c), VW Golf (5,6) Variant, Audi A3, Audi A4, Audi A6, Skoda Oktavia, Skoda Superb, Ford Mondeo, Ford Focus, Mercedes Benz C-Class, Volvo V50, Renault Megane, BMW 320d, Opel Astra, Mazda 6, Toyota Avensis-all you will also get as a combination! For 8,000€ you will also get them under 150,000km-under 150,000km I will put you very much to the heart as you will hardly have fun with many cars over 220,000km as they will only make the money so sloppy! Who buys a car with a high running performance??? The less he walked, the better for you! You’ll get a lot of kilometers to the clock on your trips home.

Combi is relative, “small” combination Skoda Fabia, “big” combination Skoda Oktavia. Is just VW technology, more favorable because of the processed interior materials and somewhat more economical, but fully matured. As diesel e.g. are approx. 3-4 years old Oktavias also needed to find more difficult even with over 200,000 km, at least if you put on trailer coupling. If the Fabias is not really different, then it seems to be quite a “sustainable” ride if even at such high running performances vehicles are still relatively difficult to get.

How do you want to find a car that has cheap and yet ne high performance,
and it should not be susceptible and also not high workshop costs, there is no such thing. And then save it. How are you gonna find a car like that?

Where’s something from “cheap”?

Look at the BMW E46. You’ll see if he’s in trouble at the test drive. For example, a comical steering or a queuing steering.. If there are no such problems, everything should be okay. You’re never guaranteed. Ours doesn’t make any problems and is just at about 250,000Km..

I would buy an older Mercedes C-Class (W202) or E-Class (W210), built mid-end 90s.. like from 1st hand, it would be worth buying a “pacar” with few kilometers from which there are many. C180 or E200 are also reasonably economical.

Rechne with about 2000 euros for a well-preserved car. Rost almost always drives, for this the cars are technically enormously durable, very reliable, comfortable and spacious. The workshop and spare parts prices are not very high. From 1997 onwards, the E-Class was standard air conditioning, in the C-Class it cost up to 2000 extra.

I am driving such a C180 by Bj. 1997 & am more than satisfied.

Pretty good is also the Ford-Mondeo Bj. from 2001 or so, should be in for 3000 euros ————> good, robust & very spacious cars. Sure you will find a neatly preserved sedan from 1. Hand with checkbook and so, possibly a Ghia equipment that has everything the heart desires! Are great comfortable long-haul cars, my father & my uncle are very excited about it.

I’d recommend a Mercedes E class. I mean, the taxi drivers also make 300,000 km easy with their cars and for 8000 euros one of the older models should definitely be inside.

I recommend a VW. If you only drive every 2 weeks, it’s also a golf. at 8000 you’ll get a very good one!

Mercedes is always a good choice. They are not so often seen as taxis. An old C or E class is great for you.
