What resistance is this?
Hello, a capacitor on my television has burst and destroyed a resistor. What is the resistance value of the resistor shown in the photo? If I see it correctly, the colors on the resistor are red, yellow, silver, and brown.
Thank you very much for your help.
So, I guess it’s really silver and the resistance is 0.24 ohm. A 2.4 GOhm could not cause such a large flow of current that it burns through. And as it seems to be designed to be quite thick, it can be a loss. But that’s gonna be a run through another mistake that he’s got so hot and broke.
You can’t say that exactly, it depends on whether the 3. Ring from left is gray or silver.
At gray = 2.4 gigaOhm, at silver = 0.24 ohm.
Red-yellow-gray, if I see it right, is 2.4 GOhm, 1% tolerance.

248 Ohm.
Right. Correct.

2.4 but have fit
Red-yellow and gray. You can read the Ohm number.

You can read the number.
