even if parts belong to Austria and Switzerland.

And the German part mostly to Baden-Württemberg.

Dert Groß Brombachsee, der kleine Brombachsee and der Altmühlsee – in short: The Franconian lakeland.

By the way, only a small tip belongs to Bavaria (Lindau=. This is why the Lake Constance is often called the Swabian Sea. The largest German part of it belongs to Baden-Württemberg – and is here again partly “schwäbisch” and partly “Badisch” or “Badisch”. Alemannian.

I was at least one time at all the lakes mentioned here, but of course I do not know all the Bavarian lakes.

Conversely, however, all I know – all of them mentioned – are very nice, so that the decision is not easy.

I’ll give my voice to the Chiemsee.

Not only do I like the Chiemgau very well, but on the Chiemsee you can also spend a whole holiday without bored:

  • Visit the Men’s and Women’s Island by ship, including visit to Herrenchiemsee Castle.
  • Once you cycle around the lake. It is also possible for average trained cyclists on one day without any problems. On the way, of course, take a break in a garden industry and eat a pork roast and drink a light. 😊
  • In Prien, take the Chiemsee steam train “feuriger Elias”.
  • Visit one of the many beach baths.
  • Take the cable car to the ramp wall or to the top of the rope.
  • On foot climb to a mountain that is not accessible by cable car, for example on the Hochgern or the Geigelstein.
  • Take a day trip from Chiemsee, for example to Salzburg or to Berchdesgaden, to the salt mine, or to the Kehlstein or to the Königsee, or to the Almbachklamm, … There you go by car, for example, from Prien to back.

Of course, I realize that you don’t have to be bored at the other lakes, but at the Chiemsee I have often made vacations for myself (early every year a week, in addition to my “main holiday” which was always elsewhere), so that for me it has such a special meaning.

Since when is Lake Constance in Bavaria?

Only a small part (at Lindau) is located in the federal state of Bavaria, but belongs to (Bavarian) Schwaben.

Well, I wouldn’t call it a big part.

I only know the Lake Constance, so I don’t vote.

Every lake has its peculiarities and is beautiful in its kind. But if I have to lift one out, I’ll take the Eibsee. I think it’s pretty. I’m more often. Isn’t that big now, but in summer it has something from the Caribbean and the view of the Zugspitze is also not bad. And definitely less touring than at Lake Königssee. ;

I like everyone, but I find the Lake Starnberg particularly beautiful.

I don’t know the Eibsee.
