Which riding helmet has good ventilation?

Hello, my dears,

It's slowly getting time for me to buy a new riding helmet. I attach great importance to good ventilation. Do you perhaps have more experience with this? I had a Casco, but now I'd like to get a different one, like a Uvex or Kep. Does anyone know how well-ventilated these brands are, or whether Casco is the winner?

It would be really nice if you could just share your experiences with me, thanks in advance.

I am absolutely satisfied with my uvex helmets in terms of ventilation. In my opinion, they are also lighter than Casco.

However, if you’ve been ridden with Casco so far, I’m afraid that UVEX won’t tell you about the fit. According to my experience, one fits either the one or the other brand, as they are very different cuts.

In doubt, just go to the next specialist store and try out other brands. Fortunately, there are even more in the market than just the two brands.

I use a uvex perfexxion and think it is relatively well ventilated compared to others.

In the end, please try in the specialist shop and test properly if it sits! In the event of a fall, protection is vital, one should always make clear.

If a Casco fits you, headaches get under a Uvex in no time, because then you have an oval head than the one for which Uvex builds. I can’t have a Casco for 5 minutes, then I’m starting to poke in my head. Others are doing this with my Uvex helmet.

I haven’t seen a helmet like my Uvex yet at Casco. Casco already has very closed helmets. But there are more manufacturers for oval heads.
