Which grill for camping trips?

Hello,

My girlfriend and I are planning to go camping again soon. I'm currently looking for a suitable camping grill/stove.

I came across the following two models which I am now weighing up and wanted to ask for your opinion.

It was important to me that the device was powered by gas.

Number 1:

Camping stove gas stove party grill 1-burner multi-functional 400 CV

Number 2:

Skotti Grill

Thank you in advance!

So I personally am a big fan of suitcase grills – just like the one here:

With appropriate accessories you can also grill chickens at the spit.

But of course weighs 10 kg and the gas bottle also comes to it – for people who want to travel with light luggage would be nix.

So if I were to go camping again, I’d take a spirit cooker and a stack of disposable grills.

Who is communicative could also ask other campers if you can put his meat or whatever with them on the grill.

I voted for the Skotti Grill. He is so handy to take along and is quickly put together – on the other hand (which is very bad) you will probably have the problem that you can’t take it apart and simply stow it.

In addition, the Skotti can use other fuels (such as wood or coal) if the gas cartridge is empty.

A friend has the Scotti grill. I’ve been able to watch and use him live there and find him good.

That would be my choice.

Personally, I would probably take the Skotti, due to the low packing mass(Rucksack Transport). And because you can also operate it without gas.

For classic camping on nem campsite, to which you can drive directly by car, and in pure gas operation you are better served with Campingaz.

If you don’t have a separate table, Skotti is on the floor.

The Party Grill 400 is a good thing, I have the part myself and it works very well. You can grill, cook and fry on it, but here at Berger it is cheaper: https://www.fritz-berger.de/artikel/campingaz-party-grill-400-1090

It is disassembled and everything is stowed in the grill, so it can be transported well.

Even the Party Grill 200 is not bad, then you only have no wok function

Check out if grill is allowed. Otherwise you can save the purchase for the first time. Because of the weather, grilling is currently prohibited on many campsites

Of course the one from CAMPINGAZ. You have everything with you, you don’t just want to cook for a long time.
